FEATURED HISTORICAL DISCOVERY · PROTOTYPE
What Happens When You Follow The Money?
This visual-story prototype explores Britain’s slave-trade financial network and the compensation system that followed abolition. Final historical research and source selection will be installed before publication.
SCROLL TO ENTER THE STORY ↓01 · THE QUESTION
Abolition Ended Slavery. But Who Was Compensated?
The story begins with one question, giving the visitor a reason to keep going.
CONCEPT VISUAL · FINAL SOURCES TO BE VERIFIED
CONCEPT VISUAL · NOT A PRIMARY-SOURCE RECORD02 · SHOW HOW WE KNOW
Bring The Evidence Into The Story.
The finished experience can reveal registers, parliamentary records, ledgers, maps and other historical sources as the story unfolds.
03 · PEOPLE & INSTITUTIONS
Move From The System To The People Inside It.
Each verified connection can become a visual chapter: a person, company, institution or place, followed by the supporting evidence.
CONCEPTUAL RECONSTRUCTION · NOT DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE
CONCEPTUAL RECONSTRUCTION · FINAL HISTORICAL CLAIMS TO BE VERIFIED04 · THE TURN
The Compensation Story Changes The Question.
The completed BCPG version will distinguish documented fact, interpretation and qualification while showing what the records establish.
BCPG EVIDENCE-FIRST STORYTELLING
The Story Follows The Evidence. The Evidence Does Not Follow The Story.
Every publishable historical claim will be independently researched and verified. Sources, uncertainty and qualifications will remain visible in the experience.
PROTOTYPE NOTE: THESE SCENES TEST PACING, VISUAL HIERARCHY AND THE HISTORY-TO-COMMUNITY JOURNEY. THEY ARE NOT THE FINAL RESEARCHED ARTICLE.

DISCUSS BLACK HISTORY
Talk about people, events, communities, books, sources and historical questions.
WHAT HISTORY DO YOU WANT TO KNOW?
Ask about a person, place, event, community or historical question you want explored.
WHAT SHOULD BLACK CONTINUITY EXPLORE?
Suggest subjects that deserve deeper attention. Community interest can inform review without deciding what BCPG publishes.
WHAT BLACK STORY DO YOU WANT TO TELL?
Share a family or community story, photograph, document or memory you do not want forgotten.
DISCOVER IT. DISCUSS IT. ASK ABOUT IT. SHARE IT. PRESERVE IT.
COMMUNITY + HISTORICAL INTEGRITY
Your Voice Matters. Evidence Still Matters.
Community contributions can reveal interests and research opportunities, but they do not automatically become verified BCPG history or publishing decisions. Historical or publishing use requires appropriate review, rights and verification.
